Aged Asiago Salame is an all natural artisan salami made with only fresh pork, aged cheeses and a handful of complementary spices. Cheese Salame, Volpi's newest addition, are naturally dry-cured, minimally processed and aged a minimum of 30 days. The strong flavor of aged cheeses married with the subtle richness of the salami has a distinctive and unique taste that is quite different and pleasing. Like any of the fine Volpi products, these exciting new additions are meant to be enjoyed with family and friends.
Asiago Salame is best paired with a sparkling red wine such as Lambrusco. Serve with grapes, kiwi or blackberries. Allow the salami to reach room temperature in order to obtain the full flavor of the products.
